I apologize to all Rhythmic Gymnasts…

Like most people, especially guys, I’ve mocked the “sport” of Rhythmic Gymnastics but after watching this video I now have to admit, these girls got skills!

2001: A Space Odyssey’s Blockbuster Trailer

Wired:
Imagine 2001: A Space Odyssey redone as a bombastic 3-D Hollywood hell-raiser, directed by Michael Bay.

For some people, 2001: A Space Odyssey is a great movie. I would agree but add, it’s also tediously slow and boring at times. But if they movie were released today, it would have to have this kind of trailer.

Yeah – because “masks in movie theaters” was the problem…

AP:

AMC Theaters, the country’s second-largest movie chain, said it would not allow costumed fans or face-covered masks into its theaters.

What an idiotic reaction to these horrible events. As if people wearing masks was the problem. It’s another example of “security theater” – the idea of “let’s do the least amount possible to make people think we’re doing something….anything….”. It’s patently offensive and dishonors the memories of those who lost their lives so tragically.
